Our home-based care services are independently contracted as an additional service through our expert service provider and act as an asset to those who need specialised care in independent or assisted living units. Our home-based care not only offers physical care, it aims to provide much-needed support from the comfort of your own unit and offers services like laundry, cleaning and emotional support in addition to illness care.
Do I qualify for home-based care?
Home-based care is suitable for the independent resident who has a home in the village and requires some medical or nursing support, but doesn’t want to go to assisted living or frail care.

WHAT TYPES OF HOME-BASED CARE FROM MY MEDICAL AID?
Our in-house home-based care services do not have a practice number but for those residents wanting to claim from medical aid, we make arrangements with an external provider with a practice number. This allows us to make sure that all our residents get the care they need, when and where they need it.
